Founder · 30 years in clinical operations
I built it because I lived inside it for thirty years and watched perfectly capable practices lose revenue, lose staff, and lose time every single day because nobody had fixed the foundation underneath them.
What I saw
One or two people running everything, holding the whole operation in their heads, with nothing documented, nothing transferable, nothing that survives a two-week vacation let alone a resignation.
Or the opposite: total disjunction. Nobody owns anything. Scheduling doesn't talk to billing. Billing doesn't talk to intake. Revenue bleeds out quietly every day and nobody has a number for how much.
AI starts arriving, new tools, vendor promises, implementation plans, getting layered right on top of the same broken foundation. The tools don't fail because they're bad tools. They fail because the operations underneath them were never ready.
I'm a Licensed Dispensing Optician with more than three decades of floor-level clinical operations experience. Not consulting from a distance, but working inside specialty practices, seeing 150 patients a day, managing the systems that either make that possible or make it brutal.
Ophthalmology is where I have the deepest expertise. I know the billing complexity that splits optical and medical, the prior authorization maze, the scheduling gaps that leave chairs empty and providers charting until midnight. I've seen it work, and I've seen it fail, and I know the difference.
That pattern recognition is the product. Not a framework. Not a playbook. The ability to walk into a practice and see in the first two hours what the people living inside it have stopped being able to see at all.
Healthcare practices that successfully adopt AI share one characteristic: they fixed their operations before they introduced the technology. Not after. Before.
That's what Lemonaid Logic does. We come in as your Fractional Chief AI Operations Officer, embedded, structured, accountable, and we build the operational foundation that makes AI work instead of creating a more expensive version of the same chaos you already had.
The name comes from what I've always believed: you can make something good out of what you've been handed. But you have to start with what's actually there, not with what you wish were there. That's the work.
How I work
Every practice is different. The broken patterns are familiar, but the specifics are always yours. The fix has to be yours too, built with your team, in your systems, in a language your staff will actually use. Otherwise nothing changes the week after I leave.
That means I listen before I recommend. I talk to the people doing the work, not just the people managing it. I build SOPs that survive staff turnover because the institutional knowledge finally lives somewhere besides one person's head.
And then I help you figure out where AI fits. Not the AI the vendor is selling, but the AI that solves the actual problem you have, on the foundation we just built together.
A 30-minute discovery call costs nothing. Most practices walk away with at least one revenue insight they can act on immediately, whether we work together or not.
